I have a small obsession with the Navy Seals (sidebar: they are one of the few people that qualify for arm sleeve tattoo's in my book, more on that later), and here's one thing learned from them the other day – BLUF. Bottom Line Up Front. So I'll make like a Seal and get right into it.

Now that you got the bottom line, let me explain.

I was kicking around the concept of how in the world can we stand out in such a HIGHLY saturated space. Then it hit me, to beat them you have to do what most of them aren't doing.

And I don't know about you but I want the easy wins first  – things in the low-effort and high-impact quadrant are my jam. Most people are simply not posting anything out into the world. If I just hit publish, I'll be doing what most aren't.

Boom, easy win.

From there it's what you read about in all the marketing books. Then it's about optimizations and messaging and efficacy and campaigns and strategy and blah blah blah.

But, for the love of all that is holy, just hit publish and you'll beat out most of your competition.
