Good evening fellow night owls. This week–and today in particular–has been long so forgive any confusing commas or half-baked sentences. Tonight, you get the raw, unfiltered Alec. Lucky you.
Yesterday I promised the secrets to beat those who are doing more than most (hitting publish) and I shall deliver.
But first, a cute little update on the cookie 🍪 competition. It's a barn burner. We have a handful of entries so far and we have 2 more days until this week's winners are selected. Share away my friends (instructions are at the bottom).
Back to the goods.
So, in this new scenario, you changed your habits in one day and are now pot-committed to being known. Nicely done. You've now graduated to a new level, the level of active marketers. You now compete with those who are known.
Here's a concept I've been workshopping that answers how you stand out from other marketers.
Well, I believe there's a sequence. Here it is.
Level 1
Be known. (you did that yesterday)
Level 2
Be known for doing ___.
Be known for doing something/solving a problem. Be an expert or a thought leader.
Level 3
Be known for doing ___ for ___.
This is where the guru books come into play. Level 3 is about doing X for Y people. Aka, picking a niche. Inherently, your message will resonate more with this audience. Just think about it, as they read/watch/listen to you, they'll have the feeling of "hey, this was meant for me. I like this guy."
Level 4
Be known for doing ___ for ___ so ___ happens.
This level can unlock riches. Be known for doing X for Y people and getting them Z result. The result can be a problem solved or a new opportunity opened. That's up to you to decide what your business provides your customers.
And so on, and so on...
As you graduate to the new levels, the results compound (that's the idea at least).
You can go X-games mode, take Level 2, and try pairing it with the Niche concept I explained in earlier this week
I'm certain there are more levels but I have yet to discover that part of my brain. You'll be among the first to know once I come across them.
Forward this to a friend (or another living being with an email address) and tell them to subscribe at websprint.io/sub

I pick 2 people each week who share the good word and send them a real-life chocolate chip cookie.
...to the bottom. While you're here, can I ask you what you thought of today's letter? Let me know → alec@websprint.io
